How do I get cheap car insurance?
Age, gender, vehicle and driving location are well known factors in determining your insurance rate. One factor you may not be aware of is your insurance score. Your insurance score is a way for insurance companies to determine your likelihood of filing a claim and or discontinuing your coverage. Although your insurance score does in not affect your credit score, your credit history is a factor in determining your insurance score.

What is a no claim bonus?
No claim bonus or disappearing deductibles is a way that some insures reward the customer for not filling small and excessive claims. The insurer saves money by not having to process the claim. They intern pass those savings on to the customer.

What is voluntary excess?
Voluntary excess car insurance is the UK equivalent of a deductible; much like in the US, a driver who chooses voluntary excess car insurance can pay less for their premiums than those that don’t.

When do I need to add my teen driver?
As soon as your teen obtains a driver’s permit and begins to drive, they should be put on your policy as a driver. In Tennessee all household members age 14 and up are required to be listed on your policy. They can be listed either as a driver or non-driver. Can I get car insurance without a down payment?
There are places on the internet that advertise “no down payment” insurance but reputable insures will require a money exchange for insurance coverage. Down payments will include any up-front administrative fees for the insurer and coverage for the time period between the time your coverage starts, until another payment is required.
